Workshop Description
Mixed Media/Collage Workshops
A one or two day workshop for all levels to develop visual ideas by combining paper, paint, text and found materials. We work quickly and intuitively as we explore ways to build an image, express an idea. Demonstrations include using acrylic paint, creating raw materials, and using various glues to collage papers and found materials. We welcome “chance” and enjoy the spirit of invention in a “No Risk, No Art” environment. Projects include works on paper, handmade books, 3-D cubes, transformations, and/or collaborations. Tear it up. Put it together. Workshops end with critique and discussion.
Art Retreats
A Creativity Workshop for Groups
A day of art in a custom workshop in my studio in Boston where we focus on process and creativity. Projects range from mixed media collaborations to handmade books and include demonstrations, discussions and critiques.
