Water-based Printmaking Workshops
Water-based inks and polystyrene (foam) plates are a non-toxic easy way to create one of a kind monoprints without a press. Demonstrations include making the plates, ink roll-up and application, and transferring the image to paper by hand. We build complex and textured images through layering multiple plates and experimenting with the qualities of transparent and opaque inks. Roll up your sleeves and roll out the ink. Workshops end with critique and discussion.
